 La Palma Dog Park

Closest to Echo 116 is La Palma Dog Park, less than 2 miles away. Found in the 21-acre La Palma Park—one of the largest parks you’ll find in Anaheim—this relatively new addition has separate sections for large and small pups, so no matter what breed you have, you can let them run free, worry-free. Plus, with such an expansive park to explore, both you and your dog can enjoy taking in the sights wandering along the many paths winding throughout the rest of the park. (Don't forget: You'll need a leash for that.)

Olive Hills Park

But that’s not the only local dog park available to you. A little farther away (10 miles) is Olive Hills Park. If you’re doing some advanced training with your pal, this is one you’ll want to keep in mind. On both the large and small dog sides is agility equipment to help you elevate your dog to competition-winning level (or at least the show-off-to-your-friends-and-family level).

Rosie’s & Huntington Dog Beaches

In the warmer months, there’s nothing that brings more joy to any pet lover’s face than seeing their animals splashing around, chasing (and biting at) waves in the ocean. If you agree and don’t mind a little bit of a trip, you’re in luck. There are two options for you: Both Rosie’s Dog Beach and Huntington Dog Beach are about 20 miles (or a half-hour car ride) away.

At both locations, be sure to keep a close watch on your pets, as there are no fences or official barriers to keep them contained. At Rosie’s, pets are welcome any time between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Huntington gives you an extra three hours, opening up for dogs at 5 a.m. and allowing them to remain until 10 p.m. There are bags provided at both locations to pick up any mess, but it’s advised to bring your own, just in case.
